Could you be a positive role model for young people and have the passion and commitment to make a difference?
Sportfit is a successful, well-established care provider supporting children aged 13-18 who experience anxiety, mental health difficulties and occasional emotional distress. Children are provided with 1:1 support during the day so that they can form positive attachments with adults without the need to compete for their attention with others. They are supported by nurturing staff who provide them with the love and security they need to grow, develop and recover from past experiences.
We are looking for caring children's Residential Support Workers to join the team at our new 3-4 bed children's home in New Milton.
You'll be committed to providing our young people with a safe, supportive and nurturing environment and being a consistent role model in their lives.
Successful candidates will:

- Assist in developing their self-belief and coping skills
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and family members in meeting children's needs
- Support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects of the home including cooking, cleaning and finances
- Ensure that the needs of the young people are being met and review and record any changes to those needs
You'll have the following experience and qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification is desirable; however, training will be available
- Experience supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or similar youth worker experience
- You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours
- Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods and sleep-ins
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
